The French Film Club was launched in October 2024 and runs annually from October to March. The schedule is to do film screenings twice a month in the Clubhouse at 6pm on Fridays (during these months).
All the films will be in French but with English sub-titles.
The French Film Club is run by Christine Dumaux, ably assisted by fellow film-buffs Marc and Joëlle Marrodal. They aim to select a list of French films that form part of France’s cultural heritage.
The bar will be open for each event and participants are invited to bring along some snacks or nibbles to share after the film, when there will be an opportunity for a discussion on the film in both English and French!
